2008!!!If you haven't been around, a few things have changed esthetically in the shop. We painted and got rid of that horrible yellow. I've been bitching ever since we moved here. We also tore down the second piercing room to make space for our newest addition to the shop, Carlos Rojas. Check out his profile. He's doing some phenomenal work. Kevin Nocerino, who we deemed "Cheese", is also amazing us daily with his talents. You should see the beautiful rose he did on me. It's a good time to try to hook up with him as he will be booking up. I hired him as a walk-in guy but his dedication and hard work are paying off with a pretty full schedule. Alfredo Alvear is doing well and I think after my little quip about his cute tattoos, he went on a scary black & grey binge. However, he still does beautiful color. Carlos Torres traveled to Rome again this year and had a blast. His available appointments are still a year out but his clients are willing to wait. His portfolio proves waiting for. Tom Berg is also still booked for a year. While his Lakers almost killed him this year, he still manages to make it to work. LOL. As always, his art is beautiful, dark and makes me wonder, "What does go on in that head? " We actually did get Tom to take a break in June. We all went on a cruise to Mexico, and while it wasn't work, we all came back exhausted. Too much fiesta. In other big new Juliette is going to be leaving the shop. We all wish her well on her adventures. She will be living in Europe for a while with her boyfriend. She graduated this year with her bachelors in Sociology. It looks like we "might" stop piercing at the shop as I just do not have time to train anyone again. We will keep you posted on that. Phaedra is still keeping everything running as smooth as it possibly can. I really couldn't keep the shop as well run without her loyalty and her attention to detail. Besos! Carmen and Markie are still here filling in blanks and are very much appreciated. This has been a really good year for me. I feel like everything has finally come together. With the newest guys being here it reminds me how much I love helping to get the tattooo ball rolling. All the machines are running and everyone here has a peace about them. The constant sports and silly movies can still make me wanna scream BUT I couldn't be happier with my co-workers. I will have to take some time off in the next two months for surgery and I will be out for six weeks. If you just can't wait to get tattooed from me, check out any of the other guys here they will take good care of you. Everyone here has tattooed me. Feel free to stop by and say hello. We love seeing our old customers and look forward to new ones as well. Peace, Terri Morgan |
